Long focused on the arts, Roosevelt students frequently take the stage in a meticulously maintained historical auditorium that has been updated with the latest technical sound and lighting equipment. TRHS opens wide its doors to the community for theatrical entertainment; choral, band, and orchestral performances; as well as offering neighborhood meeting space. The hallways and library serve as gallery exhibition space for talented art students. The front lawn of Roosevelt High School is an alternative stage space in which neighbors can gather to listen to Jazz in July, Celebration Iowa or participate in Metro Arts’ Show Motion.
